Film photography is a highly specialized and artistic process that goes far beyond simply using a different camera. Unlike digital photography, every roll of film requires physical materials, professional lab development, high-resolution scanning, color correction, and careful archival handling to ensure the highest quality results. Film photography also involves a slower and more intentional shooting approach, allowing moments to be captured with a timeless, organic, and emotional aesthetic that is difficult to fully replicate digitally. Each frame is thoughtfully composed and professionally processed to preserve the rich tones, texture, softness, and authentic character that make film imagery so distinctive and sought after.
Depending on the collection, film coverage may include 35mm film, medium format, or large format photography, all of which involve premium equipment, specialized processing, and significantly higher production costs. The additional investment reflects both the artistic craftsmanship and the tangible materials required to create truly timeless heirloom imagery.
Q: Do you require a deposit, and is it refundable?
A: Yes, a 25% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. This retainer holds your wedding day exclusively for you and means I'm turning away other inquiries for that date. The remaining 75% is due 7 days before your wedding, or you can spread it out using a custom payment plan.
Q: Are there any extra fees I should know about upfront?
A: I believe in full transparency. The only potential extras are:

Q: Why does wedding photography cost what it does?
A: Your wedding day is roughly 8–12 hours of coverage, but the real work spans 80–120 hours per wedding. That includes pre-wedding consultations, timeline planning, the wedding day itself, backing up files, culling thousands of images down to your final gallery, individually editing each photo, gallery delivery, album design, and ongoing client support. Add in 15+ years of experience, professional Nikon gear, redundant backups, and business insurance, and you're investing in peace of mind, not just photos.
Q: Is the engagement session worth to my package Collection?
A: Absolutely. The engagement session is actually included in Collection II and III because it’s one of the best ways for us to get comfortable working together before the wedding day. It helps you feel more relaxed and confident in front of the camera, making the wedding photography experience feel much more natural and enjoyable. The session also includesUp to Two hours. Session - 50 + edited images that you can use for save-the-dates, invitations, your wedding website, or simply to celebrate this exciting season of your lives.
If you decide not to include the engagement session, the collection price can be adjusted by $300.
Q: What does the wedding album cost, and is it worth it?
A: Premium albums 8"x8". Starting at $1,200 - 12"x12" Starting at $1,600., 40-page album leather cover. These are professional, heirloom-quality books, not the kind you'd find at a retail store. Your photos deserve to live somewhere beautiful, not just on a hard drive. Albums can be ordered anytime through your online gallery after the wedding.
Q: What if my wedding goes longer than expected, will I lose moments?
A: Never. If your day runs over the contracted hours, I'll keep shooting and simply add $595 per additional hour to your final invoice. I'll always check in with you before the clock runs out so you can decide on the spot. The last thing I want is for you to miss your grand exit, sparkler send-off, or late-night dance floor moments because of a timer.
